There's a reason why most humans never try a taste of placenta; it is totally addictive. Tom Cruise has been on a binge for the last 48 hours. The maternity hospital actually ran out of placenta, so he has had to resort to Asian specialty food stores.

Actually, I'm just joking. Tom Cruise does not have an eating disorder.

Cast Of MTV's 'The Real World' Includes Someone With An Eating Disorder

Paula Meronek, 24, a native of Meriden, Conn., and the rest of the housemates of the 17th season of 'The Real World,' set in Key West, Fla. Meronek tells US Weekly that her roommates were instrumental in her getting help for an eating disorder.

'The Real World' is a reality show at it's most basic. There's no contest, no ridiculous contrivances, just seven people in a house. The casting is the thing, and some health professionals are questioning the wisdom of casting someone with a serious eating disorder.

Six months before "The Real World" began taping, she started making herself throw up after eating. The 5-foot-5 Meronek got down to 95 pounds.
